Back For 2026!

We may no longer hang mistletoe or roast chestnuts over an open fire, but there is one tradition that remains a Yuletide stalwart, and this year, Alberta Ballet brings its wonderful new rendition of the tale from Artistic Director Francesco Ventriglia back to you, following its fantastic 2025 premiere.

With the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky's classic score alongside all-new sets, costumes, and choreography and an exciting new interpretation of the second act's globe-trotting adventure, this new Nutcracker is sure to delight audiences of all ages!
