Royal Winnipeg Ballet present their brilliant production of Going Home Star, an emotionally charged love story between Annie, a young First Nations woman swept up in the trappings of modern life, and Gordon, a homeless man imbued with the magic of Anishaabe trickster. Between them they confront their soul destroying past, finding truth, before final reconciliation.
Exploring the atrocities against the First Nations people, from being forced into the Residential School System, to the erasure of their shared past from a modern standpoint, this incredible new work has received glowing reviews since it's premiere.
