Reverb on the bass terribly loud during first set. Luckily corrected after intermission. Loved every song and all the music was delightful. Jesse is a favorite of mine since he started years ago! Come back soon !!

ONE OF THE BEST
I have seen jesse more times than i can get in many cities
Sometimes his concerts are great sometimes not so
But with this new lineup he was so energized
My only quibble was that jesse
God bless him
Cant hold a candle to chris church when it comes to vocals
Otherwise this was one of the performances by him
I have ever seen

JESSE COOK NAC 2022
Worth the wait! I had heard many good things about his concerts. Last night the wait was over. I had tickets 2 years back for “Tempest 25 Tour”. Which Covid-19 had this show re-scheduled 3 times then refunded. Ticket for last nights show went on sale end of 2021. The show was both highly charged with anticipation and the band that has repertoire were all a great backing and passionate players. His interaction with the audience of 1500 had some great stories of songs, life, and appreciation to be back on stage. A few encores and a unplugged with a Thunderbay gifted guitarist ending a stripped down “fall at your feet”. Outstanding introduction to Jesse Cook last night. Thank you Jesse Cook!.

AWESOME CANADIAN TALENT
Jesse Cook has his own distinctive sound you can recognize anywhere. His concert didnt disappoint and it left you wanting more despite to encore performances. The musicianship of this group is spectacular.

LOVE JESSE BUT
I was in the forth row and the two drunk ladies behind us talked for the entire performance. Ruined it for me and others.
The show was missing some of the great instruments and artists that he had in prior shows. Matt is very talented and despite the disturbance behind us I really enjoyed the music and the reverb.

OVER ELECTRIFIED
Fabulous musicians (smaller group than anticipated), 20 yrs on, many of Mr. Cook's new pieces sound too much alike, but as Paul Simon said, sometimes you just run out of new ideas.
Good venue, but sound over engineered for the intimate space.
The best part was the two pieces that were played unplugged" during encore.
BUt, I am still a fan of this virtuoso, and will be following Matt Selleck(sp?) as well.

GOOD PERFORMANCE BUT SOUND QUALITY POOR
The performance by the musicians were top notch, however the base reverberation from the drums interfered with the overall performance. The reverberation was very loud and drowned out the rest of the sound from the other members. Sadly from our seats in the right balcony terrace the reverberation in second half did not improve as was reported previously. I wish I had been in their seats. This is not a criticism of the band performance as the unplugged tunes were thoroughly enjoyable. I am merely pointing this out to identify a problem with the sound setup so that it can be corrected for future concerts. After all, isn’t that the point of providing an honest review, to make improvements to future performances? The crowd will appreciate a clearer sound, as we did at a previous concert of his.

JESSE LOST HIS MOJO?????
Heard Jessie live several times. Last was Courtenay BC in September 2022. He has all new personnel with him on this tour. His music seems to have gravitated to a "middle eastern" sound. He has an unconventional violin player with him. His sound has a plaintive, "screeching" effect, that was not particularly pleasant. Even his older "hits" have changed and dont sound the same. Not one single vocal came with this band. We have been fans for years, but this was not the Jessie Cook we came to know and love.

WHAT WAS WITH THE DRUM REVERB/ NOISE
Greetings! Liked Jesse and his Thunder Bay partner. Really enjoyed tunes where there were no Drums. Extremely annoying sound engineering issues with Drums which drowned out a lot of the guitar excellence.
Left before encore along with quite a few others to save my sanity. Too bad they couldn’t make it work 😳😳
