Ballet BC presents the Miami City Ballet's Vancouver premiere with their take on some of legendary mid-century choreographer George Balanchine's master-works. A pioneer of modern ballet, Balanchine's work represents the versatility and intoxicating nature of dance and celebrates the compelling and innovative ideas that have come to define ballet in his wake.
Miami City Ballet have long been revered as one of the most exquisite companys when it comes to Balachine. The works showcased will be the turning point in modern dance; Serenade to Tchaikovsky, Symphony in Three Movements to Stravinsky and Ballo De Regina to Verdi. Don't miss this historic part of the Ballet BC's 29th season!
