AGREE WITH ALL THE BAD REVIEWS...

I could go on about why I was disappointed with the show... but literally all of the reviews on here summed it up! Seeing Ellen was something I’ve always wanted and the show was so disappointing and uncomfortable tbh... hope she comes back and maybe throws on another show for people who have the tickets or something... :(

LAME

This was not entertaining at all... First, we were subjected to what I can only describe a hard sales presentation by the sponsers. When Ellen finally appeared she was interviewed and asked the most boring, predictable and mundane questions. Anyone who's watched Ellen's show wouldn't have learned anything about Ellen. Not. Worth. My. Hard. Earned. Money. So angry and dissapointed.

CONVERSATION WITH ELLEN

Seeing Ellen was at the top of my bucket list.I have been a devoted faithful fan for many years and was so looking forward to seeing her live. I was beyond disappointed. We spent $640. for 2 tickets. The ferry was another $200. It was a complete waste of money. We left feeling manipulated and empty. We did not pay to hear TD bank, Telus and Chamber of Commerce tell us how amazing they are. Oh, but I guess we did. How could this happen? Ellen is a woman of integrity who is in control of her life so its hard to understand how she could have agreed to this type of interview? She's also a very wealthy woman. I am going to ask for a rebate. I'm sure many others feel the same.

OVER RATED AT 1 STAR

I have to agree with the other reviews read on this site. Still perplexed how tickets could be so high priced when the event was “sponsored “ by three companies/organizations that I won’t even name who spent an hour extolling their wonderfulness for hiring/promoting women and having inclusive workplaces. Are you kidding me, you should be run out of town if you don’t! The entertainment was good, but why did we bring in someone from Toronto, no local talent??? A slap in the face to our local artists. The fawning interviewer (again no one local available?) lobbed soft ball questions at Ellen who seemed to be totally off her game. Perhaps she too was disgusted with the whole event or ? All in all a total disappointment.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED

I had purchased 4 tickets To see Ellen with family and was definitely disappointed. We rushed out of our dinner to arrive at Rogers Arena by 7pm, only to realize that corporate sponsors were doing long talks and unknown artist performed for an hour before Ellen was even coming on. When she finally came on, they showed video montages, clips from her show, and talked about things that anyone who watches her show or has access to Google could have known. The conversation was completely scripted and lackluster. She also wouldn’t answer a question because she said that question is answered “in her Netflix special coming out in December”... so why did I pay $175 a ticket then? Might as well have stayed home in my PJ’s and watched Netflix and saved myself $700. Sorry Ellen - love you and you’re funny and sweet, but that was not what anyone expected or paid for. :(
