LOVE ELLEN BUT NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
Show was suppose to be 7-10pm but ended at 9pm. Ellen only came on stage for about an hour. The host was lacklustre and didn’t engage with the audience much nor was any of the material covered worth an almost $400 a seat ticket!

ELLEN RIP-OFF
1 hour of ads and self-congratulations from TD, Telus, Chamber of Commerce, etc. Then 45 minutes of Ellen sitting in an armchair answering softball Q's from an adoring interviewer. Then home. Gee, can I say underwhelming?

Very disappointed over Ellen’s 45 minute performance. Spent $110 to hear from a bunch of sponsors and very little from Ellen.

NOTHING NEW
Seemed like a huge push/trailer for Netflix and her upcoming special. Learned nothing new about her and the moderator was sickly sweet. He seemed to share the stage with equal time given to him to gush and share. Huge disappointment 🙁

As per the other comments above, we too were disappointed with the evening. We rushed through our dinner to arrive in our seats by 7 pm and were totally stunned with the 1st 50 minutes. We did enjoy Ellen but as someone else mentioned, it was almost entirely scripted and there was very little interaction with the audience, and way too short. So unfortunate, because we had been so looking forward to this evening. I don't think I will ever go to another event like this at Rogers Arena..

A CONVERSATION WITH ELLEN
Unfortunately I agree with all of the negative comments. It was really disappointing. My daughter and I love Ellen so much and we were really looking forward to seeing her & enjoying her infectious personality. Unfortunately, apart from a couple of "pearls of wisdom" such as "remember how to play" and "do what makes you happy," we got nothing out of the show. Ellen appeared "flat" and to be honest, disinterested. Such a pity. Thankfully we only bought tickets in the nosebleeds. Can't imagine how we would feel if we had paid more.

NO LAUGHS.
The events was a total disappointment. no laughs, no dancing, no engagement, nothing interactive, nothing we didn't already know. AND IT WASN'T CHEAP! If I had know Ellen was poorly interviewed for about an hour and the rest was a waste of our valuable time, myself and many others would've just stayed home!
